In this talk we will examine Putin’s strategic and operational aims, how the conflict has played out over four long years, and how it might end.  Along the way, we will include descriptions of military actions and lessons learned on both sides, and the enormous suffering brought about in the largest land campaign of any war in Europe since the end of World War II.
